What is Coaching for Parents?

Discover the calm, confident parent within — free from stress, anxiety, and guilt.

If parenting calmly and confidently feels impossible, it’s not because you’ve failed.

It’s because you deserve attention — time to be listened to, supported, and encouraged to think through your challenges and discover how to move beyond them.

As parents, we often wish things were different. We search for ways to manage our children’s behaviour and for strategies to manage our reactions. We look for solutions outside ourselves — an instruction manual, a “10 steps to perfect parenting” guide, a quick fix.

We try the advice we hear or read, and sometimes it helps — for a while. But then a new challenge comes along, and we find ourselves stuck again. While tips from books, blogs, friends, and family can be wonderfully helpful, they don’t create the deep, lasting change that comes from self-awareness — the kind of change that helps you meet each new stage of your child’s life with calm confidence.

Lasting change begins from the inside.

Every parent carries a lifetime of experience — your own unique blend of values, beliefs, and ways of thinking. You respond to your child with a mix of love, expectation, exhaustion, anxiety, guilt, and frustration. Coaching recognises this complexity and helps you understand it, so you can respond with awareness rather than reaction.

That’s why coaching is so powerful — because it focuses on you as an individual.

Coaching gives you dedicated time and a supportive space to think clearly and creatively. It helps you uncover what you truly want as a parent, and gives you the encouragement and guidance you need to work through your unique challenges.

Whatever you’re facing right now, coaching can be the catalyst for the change you’re looking for.

If you’re curious about how coaching could help, I invite you to book a FREE 45-minute IGNITE CHANGE session. About Me

I know how empowering it feels to truly trust yourself as a parent, but I also know how hard it can be to get there. I read every book, studied child development, devoured blogs, and listened to endless advice. For every challenge, I searched for an external solution — sometimes they helped, but often they didn’t. Parenting brought more anxiety than I ever expected. Except during yoga, I don’t think I took a deep breath for almost a decade. I thought that was just what parenting was — until I learned it didn’t have to be.

After nine years as a stay-at-home mum, a new anxiety crept in — what would I do when my children no longer needed me? Once again, I looked outside myself for answers: a job, a new qualification, another distraction (and yes, quite a few pot plants). Then I discovered coaching. What began as a career idea became a life-changing journey. Through coaching, I learned to understand my thoughts and beliefs, to define what I wanted, and to shift my mindset to get there.

That’s when I found my way to anxiety-free parenting. It wasn’t instant — it took work, tears, laughter, and, most importantly, support. I didn’t do it alone, and you don’t have to either.

As your coach, I can help you reconnect with your own wisdom, uncover your unique parenting insights, and become the confident, calm, and connected parent you already have the potential to be.

I’m a certified Time to Think Coach, a qualified Transformational Coach, and an accredited Triple P Primary Practitioner. I live in London, where I’ve made my home since immigrating from Zimbabwe, with my husband, our two children, our dog, Shadow, and a thriving collection of houseplants.
